The low PMSOL signal activates the line feed solenoid and gen-
erates a busy condition. This continues until one of the following
conditions occurs:
(1)
The input device terminates the operation by sending a
delete code (octal 177) or an INPUT PRIME signal, de-
activating PMSOL.
(2) A paper time-out condition is detected, at which time PMSOL
is deactivated and the FAULT line is activated.
(3) If the VFU is used, a hole is detected in channel 7 of the
paper tape. This generates a high FFH input to LSI chip
ME25, which deactivates PMSOL.
For as long as PMSOL is active, the printer remains in a busy
condition.
