Pinion nut holder 2:
New: 90890-06715
Current: 90890-06505
Pinion nut:
74 N·m (7.4 kgf·m, 54.6 ft·lb)

Installing the oil seal housing

1. Install a new O-ring 1, the oil seal hous-
ing 2, and the seal 3.

Installing the propeller shaft housing

1. Install the washer 1 and propeller shaft
assembly 2 into the propeller shaft
housing assembly 3.
2. Apply grease to a new O-rings.

Drive shaft and lower case (F50, F60)
3. Install the propeller shaft housing assem-
bly 4 into the lower case, and then
tighten the bolts 5 to the specified
torque.

Propeller shaft housing bolt 5:
16 N·m (1.6 kgf·m, 11.8 ft·lb)
