Removing the propeller shaft
housing assembly
1. Remove the bolts, and then pull out the
propeller shaft housing assembly.
Bearing housing puller claw S 1:
90890-06564
Stopper guide plate 2: 90890-06501
Center bolt 3: 90890-06504
2. Remove the propeller shaft assembly.
Disassembling the propeller shaft
assembly
1. Remove the spring 1, then the cross pin
2, dog clutch 3, shift plunger 4, shift
slider 5, and spring 6.
Disassembling the propeller shaft
housing
1. Remove the reverse gear and reverse
gear shim(s).

2. Remove the ball bearing.
CAUTION:
Do not reuse the bearing, always replace
it with a new one.

3. Remove the oil seals and needle bear-
ing.
