Caution
When you are prompted to enter a password, you have three tries before the system
Important
You must set a Supervisor password before you can set a User password.
To set the Supervisor password:

Press

to highlight Set Supervisor Password, then press E
Supervisor Password box opens.

Type a password in the Enter New Password field. The password length cannot
exceed eight alphanumeric characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9). The password is not case
sensitive.

Retype the password in the Confirm New Password field.
Caution
Be very careful when typing your password because the characters do not
appear on the screen.

Press E
. After setting the password, the value of Supervisor Password changes
NTER
to Set.

Optional: you can enable the Password on Boot parameter.
Description
Write protects boot sector on hard disk to protect
against viruses.
When Supervisor or User Password is set, lets you
control whether to enable or disable password
entry on boot up.
