Current Profile Window

The
window displays basic information about the current profile and connection settings. This

Displays a percentage of the amount of beacons the mobile computer missed. The fewer
transmit retries, the more efficient the wireless network is. Beacons are uniform system
packets broadcast by the AP to keep the network synchronized.
The AP signal level in decibels per milliwatt (dBm).
The background interference (noise) level in decibels per milliwatt (dBm).
The access point/mobile computer Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of signal strength to
noise (interference) in decibels per milliwatt (dBm).
Displays the number of APs the mobile computer connects to while roaming.
Displays the MAC address of the AP to which the mobile computer is connected.
Displays the current rate of the data transmission.

Displays the current profile mode, either Infrastructure or Ad-Hoc.
