Changes made to the View Log menu on the
D1260 and D1260B Keypads now show the
second line of event information.
Changes prohibit using a walk test command
when the control panel is in Power-up Standby
mode. During the Power-up Standby mode, all
points on the control panel are initializing and
considered to be in the off-normal state. The
system ignores any state transitions until the
Power-up Standby window expires. Because of
required SIA CP-01 enhancements to the Fire
Walk Test command initiated in v7.05, any 24-
hour or fire point that remains off-normal when
you exit from the test is automatically bypassed
regardless of the point's configuration. In the GV2
control panels, any bypassed non-controlled point
(fire or 24-hour) can be returned to service only
by individually unbypassing each point using
CMD 00. These changes address the issues
described in the GV2 Fire Walk Test Technical
Bulletin (P/N: TBI 09-27-07 01).
Changes made to the Trouble LED on the
D1255RB and D1256RB Fire Keypads, and
D1257RB Fire Annunciator, now indicate when
the control panel is in Power-Up Standby mode.
Changes made improve the accuracy of the Low
Battery Monitor.
2.2
Version 7.06
Changes allow RPS workstations located on a private
network behind a router or firewall to communicate
with control panels outside of that network. No special
router or firewall settings are required. The control
panels support Port Address Translation (PAT) for
networks that require it.
RPS must be version 5.5 or later to
support this feature.
If firewall software is installed on the RPS
workstation, special software firewall
settings might be required to allow
outgoing traffic. Refer to your firewall
software for configuration information.

Any DX4020 or D9133TTL-E used for
enhanced communication to a central
station receiver, or with RPS over a
network, must be configured to use
Datagram Mode 2 when the control panel
firmware is version 7.06 and later. Refer to
the DX4020 Operation and Installation
Manual (P/N: F01U045288) or the
D9133TTL-E Installation Guide
(P/N: 4998122717) for configuration
instructions.
Version 7.05
Version 7.04 was skipped during
development and was not released.
Changes reset the User Code Tamper condition
when it is reported to the central station in an
Expanded Test Report.
Changes ensure that the keypad emits a tone
when a point is activated during a Walk Test.
Changes prevent the ALARM SILENCED message
from showing on the keypads when the Silent
Alarm bell timer expires. This corrects the
problem described in the GV2 Series Control Panels
Invisible Points Technical Service Note
(P/N: F01U032203).
When a Route Group is configured with an IP
destination in the primary path and a telephone
number in the backup path, a break in the
Network Link Integrity now annunciates locally.
Refer to Enhanced Communication Trouble on page 7
for more details.
Corrections improve the reliability of the direct
connection communication method between the
control panel and RPS through a D5360.
Corrections prevent a programmed # symbol
from being dialed as a zero (0).
If multiple areas use the same relay for the
A# Perimeter Armed
area-wide relay function,
the relay activates when all areas are perimeter
armed. The relay deactivates when the first area
disarms.
The sensitivity of the Ground Fault feature is
modified to be equivalent with Version 6.90 and
to prevent false reports.
