New Features

3.1
Version 7.07
Enhanced Communication Path Port
Numbers: A new prompt was added to each of
the four enhanced communication paths (Path #
Port Num) to specify an individual destination
port number. All four IP/port pairs must be
unique to ensure event acknowledgements are
accounted for correctly. Duplicate IP address/port
pairs can cause unreliable communication. This
enhancement further facilitates the Port Address
Translation feature added in V7.06. When
upgrading from V7.06 or later, these prompts are
set to 0000, which is treated as if set to the default
value of 7700.
RPS Port Number: The Base Port Number
prompt was renamed RPS Port Number to
distinguish it from the Enhanced Communication
Path Port Number prompts. This prompt
continues to provide the destination port for
network RPS sessions initiated by the control
panel.
Anti-substitution Enhancement: The anti-
replay, or anti-panel-substitution, feature was
enhanced to allow simultaneous multiple
enhanced communication paths. Previously, only
one path could be enabled when the
EnableAntireplay prompt was set to Yes. Now,
each destination path has its own Path
#AntiReplay prompt, and multiple paths can be
enabled.
When RPS v5.7 or later, or GV2AUX
v1.03 or later, sends data to a D7212GV2
control panel running v7.06 or earlier, use
the Path 1AntiReplay prompt to enable
the Anti-Replay feature.
Time Sync Enhancements: The Time Sync
feature is used by the D6600 receiver to update
the minutes of the hour in the control panel clock
to keep it synchronized with the time at the
central station. This feature was updated to
manage the control panel clock adjustments over
a period of time instead of simply jumping to the
new time. This enhancement allows consistent
execution of Skeds at their intended times. When
a TimeSync adjustment is in process, the
Time/Date idle text display is modified with a '+'
or '-' sign to indicate control panel time is
increasing or decreasing to match the target time.

Support for D1255RB and D1256RB Keypads, and
D1257RB Annunciator
The D7212GV2 Control Panels, version 7.05 and
above, support the new D1255RB and D1256
Keypads and the new D1257RB Annunciator. These
new devices have four LEDs added to indicate Fire
Alarm, Trouble, Supervisory, and Alarm Silenced.
This LED feature is enabled automatically when a
D125xRB device is installed. Refer to the D7212GV2
Program Entry Guide (P/N: F01U003804-02 or later).
Previous versions of the program entry guide, with
alphabetic revision identifiers, do not include
information related to the D125xRB devices.

When a TimeSync adjustment completes, the
control panel sends a Time Change event as User
254. This feature is enabled and disabled at the
D6600 receiver, and cannot be controlled by the
control panel.
If the control panel is configured to send
to multiple D6600 receivers using
enhanced communication paths, enable
Time Sync in only one receiver account.
Local AC Failure Annunciation: Changes were
made to delay the keypad AC Failure display by
the amount of time programmed in AC Fail
Display prompt after the main line AC is lost.
The same delay is used to hold off clearing the
display when the AC returns. The AC failure
report and AC failure relay still follow the delay
programmed in AC Fail Time.
Version 7.05 – UL and ANSI/
SIA CP-01 Compliance

Version 7.04 was skipped during
