GENERAL RULES FOR MAKING ADJUSTMENTS TO THE SPRAY GUN

PREPARATION
•
Secure the spray gun. Turn tension cap clockwise until stop (viewed from back of gun).
•
Connect material hose to pump.
•
Connect air hose to oil free, dry air supply approx. 0.25 MPa; 2.5 bar; 36 psi with
regulator.
•
Connect electric cable of the spray gun to the control unit.
•
Visually check the permissible pressures for all the unit components.
•
Make sure that the spraying unit and all other conductive parts within the work area are
earthed.
•
Set material pressure and use a suitable medium (solvent or water) to check that
connections do not leak.
•
Relieve unit pressure and secure the spray gun.

Do not work with the electrostatic spray gun.
Remain outside the area of the electrostatic spray gun/work -
piece.
WARNING
Switch off the energy/compressed air supply.
Relieve the pressure from the spray gun and unit.
Secure the spray gun against actuation.
By functional faults: Identify and correct the problem, proceed
as described in chap„Trouble shooting".
