Set-up/Basic settings

Reset to factory settings

You can reset the TravelPilot to its original factory settings. This will affect all of
the settings made for navigation and the audio sources.
Select RESET from the Set-up menu.
Step 1: If a navigation CD is inserted in the system, you will be asked whether or
not you want to reset the settings for navigation. This will affect the entire desti-
nation memory and the route options. If there is no navigation CD in the system,
the next inquiry will appear immediately.
If you want to delete the settings, select YES .
To keep the settings made for navigation, select CANCEL .
Step 2: This inquiry refers to deleting the name and track program memory for
CD operation.
To reset the settings select, YES , otherwise
Select CANCEL .
Step 3: The last step affects all of the options, all of the Set-up settings and all of
the sound settings for the audio sources.
If you want to delete the settings, select YES .
To keep the settings, select CANCEL .
If you answer at least one inquiry with YES , the system will be reset. To do so,
the system will switch off and on again. If you have selected CANCEL for all of
the inquiries, the TravelPilot will return to the Set-up menu.
