Operation

Edge Planing

Prior to starting any jointing operation, it is best to inspect the workpiece to
determine the direction of the wood grain. The best jointing results are gained by
feeding the wood into the knives with the grain.
Adjust the infeed table to remove the minimum amount of stock required by
lowering or raising the infeed table. Loosen the infeed table lock and adjust
accordingly. Securely
lock the table.

Planing Safely

For edge planing grasp your workpiece as shown, being sure to keep fingers well
above the table surface.
