• Select alphabet #1 - Drifter - and the letter "B".
• Select Layout 1 and increase the size of the letter to 200%.
• Touch Temporary Save.
• Duplicate the design two more times so that there are three "B"s on screen.
• Move and Temporary Save one "B" to the right and the other to the left, leaving one in the center.
• Retrieve the "B" on the right, then select Layout 2.
• Alter the stitch density to 160%.
• Select Layout 1, then touch Temporary Save.
• Retrieve the "B" on the left, then select Layout 2.
• Alter the stitch density to 40%.
• Select Layout 1, then touch Temporary Save.
• Touch OK to process the design.
• Embroider the design.
• Trim and mount the sample on the following page, noting the stitch density of each design.
NOTE: Notice that the satin stitches moved closer together or further apart, while the straight
stitches under the design remained unchanged. Stitch density changes affect both satin
stitching and step stitching.
