• Access the OPTIONAL Customized Pattern Selection software, CPS.
• From Collection 6, select Design #23, the French Horn, and send to your module memory or to a
Personal Design Card.
• Select Layout 1, then increase the size of the design to 150%.
• Touch Temporary Save.
• Duplicate the design two more times so that there are three horn designs on screen.
• Move and Temporary Save one of the horns at the top of the hoop, and one at the bottom
of the hoop, leaving one in the center.
• Retrieve the horn at the top of the hoop, then select Layout 2.
• Alter the stitch length to 50%.
• Select Layout 1, then touch Temporary Save.
• Retrieve the horn at the bottom of the hoop, then select Layout 2.
• Alter the stitch length to 150%.
• Select Layout 1, then touch Temporary Save.
• Touch OK to process the design.
• Embroider the design.
• Trim and mount the sample on the following page, noting the stitch length of each design.
NOTE: Notice that the stitches get shorter or longer with stitch length changes,
while the spacing of the rows of stitches remains unchanged.
