Adapter/Spacer (Optional Accessory)

• Optional accessory to be used with the embroidery module.
• Used for embroidering tubular items on the free arm of the artista.
• Attaching the Adapter:
- Remove the slide-on table from the artista.
- Place the adapter on the sewing machine
- Push the adapter toward the sewing machine to engage the lugs.
• Removing the Adapter:
- Remove the module from the artista.
- Grasp the right rear corner of the adapter.
- Remove the adapter from the machine.
Small Hoop (Optional Accessory)

• Only the small hoop can be used for free arm embroidery.
Embroider with the Free Arm

• Attach adapter to the module.
• Do not attach hoop.
• Select design #12 - heart crest - from Collection #5.
• The machine will check the hoop size and recommend using a larger one; touch Esc.
• Select Layout 1 and reduce the size of the embroidery design until it fits inside the hoop,
approximately 60%.
• Touch the Check function to move the embroidery arm into proper alignment for free arm embroidery.
• Touch OK.
• When the stitch processing is complete and the embroidery arm has moved into the proper position,
it is safe to attach the hoop.
NOTE: If, after processing, the embroidery arm moves back to the Park position, touch Layout,
Start,
• Attach the small embroidery hoop to the module.

Fabric: Baby's t-shirt - "Onesie"
Needle: Embroidery
Thread: Isacord embroidery thread
Choose thread colors to match design
Presser Foot: Embroidery Foot #15
Stabilizer: Poly-Mesh and Aqua Film
Module Designs: Design #12 (heart crest), Collection 5
and then OK. This will position the arm properly. You may then attach the hoop.
