6. Maintenance
6.3 Cleaning print nozzle
Nozzle may be covered with some oxidized ABS after a lot of prints. These
oxidized ABS could be melt during a print job, and create burnt marks on the
model being printed. To avoid this problem, nozzle needs to be cleaned
regularly.
Firstly, in order to melt the oxidized ABS, nozzle needs to be heated. Use the
"Extrude" button in the "Maintain" dialogue, then lower the platform to the
bottom.
Then, use some heat-resistant material, like 100% cotton cloth or soft paper to
clean the nozzle. A pair of tweezers may also be required.

TIP: You can also soak the nozzle in acetone, or even use an ultrasonic
cleaning bath to help clean the nozzle.
