Saving a model: Choose the model you want to save, then click "Save". The
file is saved in UP3 format and its size is 12%~18% of the original STL file.
This is a convenient format for users to archive or transfer models.
Note on STL files: To print a model correctly, all the triangles of the model
need to have their normal facing outward. The UP! software uses color to
indicate whether a model has problems or not. The default color used by UP!
software after a model is loaded is light grey, and if the model is picked or
highlighted, its color is pink. If the model has problems, like the normal of
triangles of a model is facing a wrong direction, the model will be colored in red.
All the setting of coloring can be changed in setting in UP! software.

Fixing STL Files: The UP! software has an option to fix models with bad
surfaces. Under the "Edit" menu, you will see a "Fix" option. Select the model
with problems, and click the "Fix", UP! software will do the calculation and fix
the problems within its capabilities. An STL could have variety of problems,
and UP! software cannot fix them all. If UP! fails to fix the problems, it is
recommended to use other professional 3D modeling software to fix the
problem.
