Check 3 The battery pack is completely discharged. Wait a few minutes to charge it. If
the battery pack still isn't charged, replace it with a new one.

Check 4

The battery's temperature is hot or cold. Return the battery to a normal operating
condition. If the battery pack still doesn't charge, replace it with a new one.
Check 5 Go to Procedure 5.

Procedure 5

Replacement Check
The power supply board or system board may be disconnected or damaged. Disassemble the
computer following the steps described in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures, and check
the connections between the power supply board and system board. If the boards are properly
connected, perform the following check(s):
Check 1 Replace the power supply board with a new one. If the power supply is still not
functioning properly, perform Check 2.
Check 2 Replace the system board with a new one.
