Installing the LCD Module
To install the LCD module, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-29.
1. Connect the LCD cable to CN1 on the LCD module.
NOTE: A gasket to reduce noise that might affect the LCD is attached to the
LCD flexible cable. When you connect the flexible cable, make sure the
gasket is turned so that it lies against the panel's metal cover. If the gasket is
turned outward, it will be ineffective.
2. Seat the LCD module and then secure it to the LCD cover with four M2.5x6
screws.
3. Install the FL inverter board, display mask, optional memory module, optional PC
card, and battery pack as described in Sections 4.11, 4.10, 4.4, 4.3, and 4.2.
