Chapter 8: Controlling the Output

The Sensaphone 800 includes a relay output that can be used to
control a light, siren, or other device. The output is a Form-C
Normally Open/Normally Closed mechanical relay and is rated
for up to 30VAC/VDC 1A. A sample wiring diagram is shown
below:
The output can be programmed to operate in one of 13 automatic
modes or it can operate in manual mode (default). The 13
automatic modes allow the output to automatically turn on and
off based on individual alarms or any alarm. In manual mode the
output is controlled via keypad command or remotely via touch-
tone phone. A description of each mode is described below.

8.1 Output Modes

Mode Description
1
Output on when zone 1 goes into alarm. Off when alarm is
acknowledged.
2
Output on when zone 2 goes into alarm. Off when alarm is
acknowledged.
3
Output on when zone 3 goes into alarm. Off when alarm is
acknowledged.
4
Output on when zone 4 goes into alarm. Off when alarm is
acknowledged.
5
Output on when zone 5 goes into alarm. Off when alarm is
acknowledged.
