defrost cycle. At this point, the control will re-open
the damper. (See Figure 16.)
Thermistor to Sense Defrost Cycle
To replace the thermistor by the damper you must
replace the low voltage wiring harness.
1.
Remove back cover from control.
2.
Unplug thermistor from control board.
NOTE
This thermistor is part of the control wiring
harness. You will need to remove the 10 pin
connector from the housing and disconnect the
7 pin connector next to the thermistor connector
in the main control board. Also remove the 4 pin
connector from the board and from the damper
motor to replace the thermistor.

Slide thermistor out of control housing.
The wire coming from the food compartment light
switch will let the control know when the food
compartment door is opened. The Perfect Temp
Drawer fans will turn off when the fresh food
compartment door is open.

Normal Operation
This display will show the setpoint temperature
when no error conditions exist and flash the error
code if an error exists. Temperature display mode
(F or C) is user selectable via the C/F button.
The following error codes may be displayed:
9X Shorted key/button where X is 1 for "ON/
OFF", 2 for "+", 3 for "C/F",4 for "-", 5 fot
"control lock", 6 for " ∨ ", and 7 for " ∧ ".
2X Open NTC where X is 1 for the chamber
NTC and 2 for the freezer NTC.
3X Shorted NTC where X is 1 for the chamber
NTC and 2 for the freezer NTC.
CE Loss of communications between the UI and
Main PCB.
HI°F - UCL over temperature timeout exceeded.
LO°F - LCL under temperature timeout exceeded.
Showroom Mode
Activation - This mode is accessible only when
the drawer is in OFF mode. Press and hold
"+" key while pressing "-" key 3 times within 5
seconds. Display flashes "0" for 10 seconds.
User must press ON/OFF key to accept,
otherwise the control remains in normal
operation.
Deactivation - POR deactivates Showroom Mode
Loads - Closes mixing valve, disables heater,
fan, ON/OFF, and error codes. Enables all
display functions and key operations with the
exception of changing the operating mode.
