    When food is heated, steam is created, like in a kettle. When the steam comes into contact with the glass in the oven door, it condenses and creates water droplets. To reduce condensation, always preheat the empty oven for 10 minutes.

    How to Use Defrosting The oven fan operates without heat and circulates the air, at room temperature, inside the oven. This increases the speed of defrosting. However, please note that the temperature of the kitchen will influence the speed of defrosting.

    The enamelled base of the oven cavity is best cleaned whilst the oven is still warm. Wipe the oven over with a soft cloth soaked in warm soapy water after each use. From time to time it will be necessary to do a more thorough cleaning, using a proprietary oven cleaner.

    As cooking produces oil, fats, splashes of food, etc., catalytic enamel destroys them. To aid this process it is a good idea to run the oven for an hour or two per week, without food, to ensure continued good performance from the Catalytic liners.
