Remove the Handles (optional)
Replace the Doom and Hinges
Style 1
1. Rap ace hn 1 he ern hingee, if removed, Tighten screws,
1, Apply fJml pressure with your band on tile face of trim, Slide
top trim Lip and bottom trim down away from handle, Lift trill1
pieces off sllot,llder 8crews. See Graphic '1,
::', Remove handle screws and haadles, ,See Graphic 1,
g, Move refrigerator into place, Replace handles as shown, See
Graphic 1,
Style 2
1. Apply firm pressure cn the handle to slide it up and eft of the
shoulder screws, See Graphic 1.

Remove the Doors

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before removing doors,
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock,
Unplug refrigerator or d]ecoanect power,
Open both refrigerator doors, Remove the base grille, Place
bands along tile ends of tile grille, Pceb in on the top of the
base grille and pull up on the bottom, See Graphic 2.
Close both doors and keep thorn closed until you are ready to
lift ttlem free from the cabinet.
If yoc have a dispenser (ice or water), disconnect tile water
dispenser tubing located behind the base grille on the freezer
door side, See Graphic 3,
= Press the red outer ring against the face of fitting and pull
the dispenser tubing free,

On some models, realove the tubing from hose clip,
Remove tile top I~ft hk]ge cover and screws as shown, See
Graphic 4,
IMPORTANT= Do not remove screw A,
Disconnect wiring plug. Remove remaining left hinge screws
and hil/ge as shown in Graphic 4.
IMPORTANT; Do not remove screw A,
Lift freezer door straight Lip off bottom binge, See Graphic 5.
The water dispenser tubing remains attached to the freezer
door and pulls through the bottom left hiage, Make sure you
protect the dispenser tubing hom damage,
Remove the top right hinge cover and screws as shown in
Graphic 6.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove screw A,
Lift tile refrigerator door straight up off bottom hinge,
It may not be neceseary Io remove the bottom hinge.s to
i'nove tile refrigerator through a cleon,ray, Both bottom hinges
have similar construction.

If necessary, disassemble the hinges as shown in
Graphic 7,
tMPORTANTt Do act remove screw A,
2. Feed tile dispenser tubing through the bottom left hinge
bdore replacing the freezer door oi! the hinge, Assistance
may be needed.
NOTE= Provide additional support for the doors while the top
hinges are being replaced, Dc not depend on the door
magnets to held the doors tn place while you are working.
3, Reconnect water dispenser tubing by pLlshing tLlbing irate
fitting until tt stops and black mark toucbes face el lhe red
outer ring, See Graphic 3. On some rnodets, replace tubing in
hose clip,
4. Align and replace the top left hinge as shown, See Graphic 4,
Tighten screws,
6. Reconnect wiring plug,
6. Replace left binge cover and screw,

7...,. Replace.the refrigerater.doe~ by.carefully, lifting ,the.door onto .................................................
the bottom right hinge,
8. Align and replace the top right hinge as shown. See
Graphic 6, Tighten screws,
9. Replace hinge cover and screws. Tighten screws,
10. Plug ia refrigerator or reconnect power,
Door Cloeing
1. Place a lays] iesida the refrigerator at the back of ~he top
shelf, See Crept c 8 n Refrigerator D(or..
2. Locate the leveling:} screws behind the base grille of the
refrigerator on either side.
3. Use a box-head socket wrench to adjust the rear roller
leveling screws until the refrigerator is level, 'l'Lml the rear
re!Ier leveling screw to the right to raise that side of
refrigerator or ~um the leveling screw to the left to lower that
side, See Graphic 10 in "Refrigerator Doors," Make sure
refrigerator is level befor~ proceeding.
4. Check the door alignment after leveling the refrigerator,
~ign the Boo~
IMPORTANT: First level the back of the refrigerator as described
in "Door Closing."
The doors may be u~even after leveling the refrigerator, See
Graphic 9 in "Refdgerato~ Doors." The doors are preset at tb~
factoiy so that the refrigerator door Is higher than the freezer door
by approximately the thickness of a quarter. Once the doors are
Icaded with food, they shocld ba even, If the door height needs
to be adjusted after the doors have been loaded Wttl~ food, follow
these steps,
I. Use a hex-head socket wrench to adjust the treat roller
leve~ing screws unit{ ~he doors are evee, Turn the front roller
leveling screw to the right to rais~ that side of ~he refrigerator
or turn the leveling screw to the left ~o lower that side. See
Graphic 10 tn "Refrigerator Doors,"
NOTE: Open and close both the refrigerator and freezer
doors after each adjustmeat to check the doer alignment,
2. Open the doors and replace the base grille, I.ia~ op the gdlle
supporl tabs with the metal clips, Push the grille firmly
saap it into place,
NOTE: Be sure to refasten the recb Sheet behind the base
