11 Logbook: -

One or more individuals should be appointed, to maintain a Logbook and to oversee all
entries and record all events resulting from or affecting the system.
The Logbook should be kept in a safe place, closely situated to the Control Panel. It
should only be accessible to those authorised persons
The names of the responsible appointed persons should be recorded on the Reference
Data Table below.
All events including real and false Fire Events, Faults, Pre-Alarm Warnings, Tests,
temporary Disablements should be properly recorded.
Service visits should also be recorded. Such recordings should be accompanied with brief
notes of any work that has been or is to be carried out.
Such Reference Data should be detailed in the sample below: -
