2) Set the test chart on the original pickup tray, and execute a 100% magni-
fication copy.
3) Lay the test chart on top of the image outputted in step 2) to confirm the
image is within the following standard value.
A</=1mm
B</=1mm
Go to step 4, when the image is not within the standard value.

4) Press "2" and "8" at the same time then "User mode key" on the control
panel to move to the service mode.
5) Select: COPIER>ADJUST>ADJ-XY>ADY-Y-DF and change the setting
to adjust.
If enlarging the setting, A margin will be larger and B margin will be
smaller.
[1 measure: 0.1mm]
<Adjustable range -30 to 30>
6) Print a test chart and verify if image is within the standard value.
b. Adjusting the Position of the Side Guide Plate on the ADF Pickup
Tray
1) Open the feeder cover ant detach the inside cover.
2) Detach the cover [2].
- 3 screws [1]

3) Loosen the screw [1] and remove the screw [2] from the positioning hole
side, and then tighten it temporarily with the adjusting long hole [3].
In case of A > 1mm : Move the volume unit to the front side
In case of B > 1mm : Move the volume unit to the rear side

4) Move the original width volume unit [4] to the front or rear side to adjust.
5) Tighten the screw [1] loosened before and the screw fixed with the adjust-
ing long hole [3].
6) Attach the cover after adjusting.
7) Print a test chart and verify if the image is within the standard values.
