CUTTING OPERATION

1. Use your right hand to grip
the rear handle and your left
hand to grip the side handle.
See Figure 16.
2. Start the saw before the
blade touches the work
piece. Wait until the blade
reaches full speed before
cutting. Gently push the
saw into the work piece
slowly. For a smooth cut
surface, keep the saw at full
speed while cutting. The tip
position of the blade can be
seen through the blade set-in on the baseplate.
CAUTION: Beware of kickback when the running blade touches the
work piece.
3. Keep moving the tool smoothly until the cut is finished.

CUTTING DIRECTION

Align the right side notch at the front of the base with a straight cutting
line on the work piece for straight cuts.
