TRIANGLE SHAPED SIGHTING NOTCH
AND BLADE SET-IN
1.
The sighting notch (A) near
the front of the baseplate
provides guidance for
free-hand cuts following a
cutting line. See Figure 19.
2. When performing cuts,
the cutting line for the saw
blade can be observed via
a triangle shaped sighted
notch at the front of base
plate. Align the cutting line
on the work piece with the
triangle shaped sighting
notch at the front of the base plate.

MAINTENANCE

1.
Remove the plug from the power source before carrying out any
adjustment, servicing or maintenance.
2. Keep the tool clean.
3. Never use a saw blade that is damaged, distorted or dull.
4. Inspect the lower guard to ensure that it is in good condition and
that it moves smoothly. Never use the tool unless the lower guard
operates properly and is in good operating condition.
5. After use, make sure the power plug has been removed from the
power source and store the tool in a secure place out of the reach
of children.
6. Periodically remove the metal chips in the dust cover and dust from
the surface of the tool with a damp cloth.
7.
Keep the tool from contacting water or oil.
METAL CHIP REMOVAL
The metal chips created from cutting can be observed via a glass window.
When the chips have accumulated to about half full, remove the guard and
empty the collected metal chip particles.
NOTE: Be sure to inspect the level of dust collected before cutting.
