3. If the control solution test result is out of range:
PROBABLE CAUSE
Error in performing the test.
Control solution poorly
shaken.
Expired or contaminated
control solution.
Control solution that is too
warm or too cold.
Test strip deterioration.
Meter malfunction.
WHAT TO DO
Read the instructions thoroughly and
repeat the test again.
Shake the control solution vigorously
and repeat the test again.
Check the expiration date or the dis-
carded date of the control solution.
Place control solution, meter and test
