N1200 Won't Turn On
In the event that the N1200 won't turn on, check to see that the power cable is
correctly plugged in to the N1200. Also check to see if the electrical outlet is
functioning.
Forgot My Password
Press the reset button during booting process, and N1200's LAN 1 IP address will
be set to 192.168.1.100 temporarily. At this time all the file services will be
stopped.
1. When you point your browser to 192.168.1.100, you will see the following
screen.
2. If you select Reset to Factory Default option, the system will be reset.
Below are the default system settings:
Admin password
LAN 1 IP address
LAN 1 IP Gateway
LAN 1 Jumbo Frame Support
LAN 2 IP
LAN 2 Jumbo Frame Support
HTTP Port
HTTPS port
Forgot My Network IP Address
If you forget your network IP address and have no physical access to the system,
you can use the setup wizard to retrieve the IP of your N1200.
1. Start the Setup Wizard, and it will automatically detect all Thecus IP
storage products on your network.
2. You should be able to find the IP address of the N1200 which you have
forgotten in the Device Discovery screen.
Resetting NAS IP Address and Admin Password
In case you changed the N1200 IP address and then forgot it, or forgot the
administration password, follow the steps below to reset to default settings:
1. Power on the N1200 and immediately press the Reset button for 10
seconds. (The reset button is near the LAN connector)
2. This resets the N1200 to its default IP address and password settings. For
firmware v2.0.00 and later, Jumbo Frame support will also be disabled.
Default IP: 192.168.1.100 for WAN and 192.168.2.100 for LAN2
Default admin password: admin
Jumbo Frame support: disabled
