Message
Cannot play back all tracks
USB flash drive was discon-
nected for device protection.
Do not connect this USB flash
drive to the unit. To restart
USB, restart the unit.
Authorization failure. iPod is
not connected.
Cause
All the files on the inserted external
storage device are secured by DRM.
None of the files can be played by
this unit.
The USB connector or USB cable is
short-circuited.
The connected USB storage device
consumes more than the maximum
allowable current.
The USB interface cable for iPod /
iPhone is short-circuited.
The iPod is not compatible with this
navigation system.
Communication failure
Action (Reference)
Store playable files.
Replace it with a playable file. (Page 188,
Page 204)
Confirm that the USB connector or USB
cable is not caught in something or da-
maged.
Disconnect the USB storage device and do
not use it. Turn the ignition switch to off, then
turn ACC back on or turn the ignition switch
on and then connect the compliant USB sto-
rage device.
Confirm that the USB interface cable for iPod
/ iPhone or USB cable is not caught in some-
thing or damaged.
Use a compatible iPod.
! Disconnect the cable from the iPod. Once
the iPod main menu is displayed, reconnect
the cable.
! If the message appears frequently, consult
your dealer.
