Removing the Paper Low Sensor

Chapter 7: Disassembling and Reassembling the Thermal Receipt Mechanism

Remove the screws holding the sensor assembly to the print mechanism.
Remove the two snap rivets by pushing the center pin through the outer jacket, then
pushing the outer jacket until it is flush with the sensor bracket.
If the rivets are damaged, use new ones when re-installing the paper low sensor. There
is a small foam pad on the paper low sensor that may need to be changed. It provides
friction so the sensor is not easily moved.
Attach the paper low sensor to the bracket by pressing the snap rivets through the
holes in the tabs on the bracket.
Re-assemble the sensor assembly and screw it into the print mechanism.
