4. Hardware Update Wizard
The Hardware Update Wizard will help guide
you through the necessary steps to install the
HT630 USB driver for your PC:
• On the first screen the Hardware
Update Wizard asks to search for
software using Windows Update.
Select "No, not this time", then click
"Next".
• The next screen asks "What do you
want the wizard to do?"
Select "Install from a list or specific
location", then click "Next".
5. Locate Driver
The next screen prompts you to choose your
search and installation options.
• Select "Search for the best driver in these
locations."
• Select "Search removable media", then
click "Next".
6. Complete Installation
The Hardware Update Wizard will search for
the necessary driver and install it on your PC.
Click "Finish" to complete the installation.
Once the installation for the USB driver is
complete, the Hardware Update Wizard will
open again to create the virtual com port for
your HT630 to communicate with your PC.
Repeat steps 3 - 5 to create the virtual com
port.
Your HT630 is now ready to communicate with
your PC.
