Trouble/Error Messages

The following paragraphs describe the possible trouble and error messages that can be displayed on touchpads
using an LCD.
Troubles
23.1
PAPER
Printer is out of paper.
DATA LOST
Dialer has failed all of its attempts to communicate with the central station and the Model 4720 has
deleted the message(s) it was trying to send.
FAILED
Dialer cannot communicate with the central station. Appears in conjunction with DATA LOST.
BATTERY
Low or No Battery Condition.
Note: After power is restored—following a power loss that was long enough to cause a low battery condition—
the system may end up disarmed, regardless of the selection for "default mode" (see Section 17.1). Upon
receiving a Low-Battery Report from the panel, you should rearm the system either manually or by using
the downloading software.
AC
Loss of AC power.
LINE 1
Phone Line 1 is bad.
LINE 2
Phone Line 2 is bad (if using two (2) lines).
DEVICE 0
Problem with the Model 4720 dialer.
DEVICE 1
Problem with the Model 5260 Printer Interface (or the Model 5255 On-Site Printer).
DEVICE 2
Problem with Zone Expander 1.
DEVICE 3
Problem with Zone Expander 2.
DEVICE 4
Problem with the Model 4140 Intercom/Telephone Controller.
DEVICE 5
Problem with the Model 4150 External Control Module.
DEVICE 7
Memory (EEPROM) problem.
TOUCHPAD (1 - 15)
Problem with a touchpad.
