Appendix A

Input / Output Signals

With ON/OFF held high and F/R (forward / reverse) held high (forward), if
CPS0 is high, then transistors Q1 and Q4 will turn on, and the motor will rotate
forward. The cutter that has moved to the front side is detected by cutter
sensor 0, and when CPS0 goes low, the motor stops. Similarly, with ON/OFF
held high and F/R held low (reverse), if CPS1 is high, then Q2 and Q3 will turn
on, and the motor will rotate in the reverse direction. The cutter that has
moved to the rear side is detected by cutter sensor 1, and when CPS1 goes
low, the motor stops.
In any event, when ON/OFF is held low, then Q3 and Q4 turn on, which
grounds both motor terminals through Q3 and Q4 and stops the motor.
Input / Output Signals
The following pages list the signals connected to the LVX040 controller board,
to the MC board (MC-PCBA), and to the DC power supply board (PS-PCBA).

LVX040 Controller Board Input/Output Signals

The tables that follow list the signals and connector pin assignments for the
input/output connectors on the LVX040 controller board.
