You can draw the line to have maximum 11 dots.
You must draw a threshold line so as to make room for an incoming object between threshold line
and image boundary .
If there is no room for the object between threshold and boundary, line crossing may not be enabled.
If the distance between center of an object and threshold line stays at below a certain value after
the object center passed through the threshold line, the object will not be counted even if it
passes over the threshold line again.
The distance value is proportional to the specifi ed image size and <Object Size>.
If the image size is CIF (320x240), the distance corresponding to between 1 and 10 <Object
Size> will be 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36 and 39 in pixels, respectively.
Deleting the line : Put the mouse cursor on the counting line in the monitoring
image in the <Line Crossing> confi guration screen. When the Line Crossing
dialog box appears, click the [Delete] button.
Setting the counting area : Select the <Area Occupancy>, and then click your left
mouse button to draw a polygon in the monitoring image in confi guration screen.
If you complete drawing the polygon, click your right mouse button. When a
dialog box appears, click the [OK] button.
You can set the counting area to a closed polygon with maximum 11 dots.
Deleting the counting area : Put the mouse cursor on the counting area in the
monitoring image in the <Area Occupancy> confi guration screen. When a dialog
box appears, click the [Delete] button.

Select the object size to be displayed in the monitoring image in confi guration screen.
As the number gets bigger, the rectangle size for the object in the monitoring image
gets bigger.
If you set the object size small and an object with much bigger size appears, the
number of detected objects may be more than the actual.

Set the Activation Time.
Always : Always enables the object counting function by designated setting.
Only scheduled time : Enables the object counting function only at designated
time and day.

Set the File Transfer Interval.
Counting interval : Save as a fi le the accumulative counting of objects that have
passed through the user-defi ned threshold line for a specifi c time as well as the
average of number of objects that have appeared in the counting area.
The average for the counting area will be updated in <Object Counting> -
<Area> at a certain time interval.
File transfer interval : The CSV or XML fi le containing the results of counting at a
specifi ed interval will be transferred to the server.

Specify the saving method of the result log.
File Format: Select XML or CSV for the fi le format.
Location : The position information of the camera will be attached to the fi le title
before sent to the server.
