If you use a rear heat shield to obtain reduced clearances, you must use the optional rear heat shield manufactured by
HearthStone available through your local dealer. Close clearance connector pipe must be tested to UL standards and listed.
Check listings of your pipe for actual clearances. Shown below are typical only and specific to Simpson Dura Vent DVL
brand. Clearances cannot be reduced without the use of the rear heat shield and/or with close clearance connector pipe and/or
by protecting the surfaces per NFPA 211 standards.
