This section describes the controls, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), and front
connectors on the computer, as well as how to turn the computer on and off.

Controls, LEDs, and connectors

Figure 1 shows the controls, LEDs, and front connectors on the IntelliStation A Pro
Type 6224 computer. See "Input/output connectors" on page 56 for an illustration
and description of the connectors on the rear of the computer.

Ethernet link status LED
When this LED is lit, it indicates that the CD-ROM drive is in use.
Press this button to insert a CD into or remove a CD from the CD-ROM
drive.
When this LED is lit, it indicates that the hard disk drive is in use.
When this LED is lit and not flashing, it indicates that the computer is
turned on. When this LED is flashing, it indicates that the computer is off
and still connected to an ac power source.
Press this button to turn the computer on or off.
When this LED is lit, it indicates that there is activity between the computer
and the network. There are two of these LEDs, one on the front and one on
the rear of the computer.
