1. Remove the starter lock cam.
2. Loosen the screw for starter lock wire.
3. Remove the upper portion of the
starter lock wire.

4. Remove the lower portion of the starter
lock wire.

5. Remove the bolts (3cps) and remove
the recoil starter assembly.

Confirm that the shift lever is at neutral
position.
Wrap a rope around the starter pulley
then pull quickly to start.
Use a 10 mm socket wrench as a rope
handle.
Reinstall top cowl after engine starts.
