IPv4 / IPv6
Select IPv4 Only if you want the EMG2926-Q10A to run IPv4 only.
Select Dual Stack to allow the EMG2926-Q10A to run IPv4 and IPv6 at the same time.
Select IPv6 Only if you want the EMG2926-Q10A to run IPv6 only.
PPP Information
PPP Username
Type the username given to you by your ISP.
PPP Password
Type the password associated with the username above.
MTU Size
Enter the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) or the largest packet size per frame that
your EMG2926-Q10A can receive and process.
PPP Auto Connect
Select this option if you do not want the connection to time out.
Idle Timeout
This value specifies the time in minutes that elapses before the router automatically
(second)
disconnects from the PPPoE server.
PPPoE Service
Enter the PPPoE service name specified in the ISP account.
Name
WAN IP Address Assignment
Get automatically
Select this option if your ISP did not assign you a fixed IP address. This is the default
from ISP
selection.
Use Fixed IP
Select this option if the ISP assigned a fixed IP address.
Address
My WAN IP
Enter your WAN IP address in this field if you selected Use Fixed IP Address.

This is available only when you select IPv4 Only in the IPv6/IPv4 field.
Enable 6RD
Enable IPv6 rapid deployment to tunnel IPv6 traffic from the local network through the
ISP's IPv4 network.
Automatically
Select this to have the EMG2926-Q10A detect the relay server IP address automatically
configured by
through DHCP.
DHCP
Manually
Select this if you have the IPv4 address of the relay server.
Configured
Border Relay IPv4
Specify the relay server IPv4 address.
Address
Service Provider
Enter an IPv6 prefix for tunneling IPv6 traffic to the ISP's Border Relay router and
IPv6 Prefix
connecting to the native IPv6 Internet.
Service Provider
Enter the IPv6 prefix length.
IPv6 Prefix length
An IPv6 prefix length specifies how many most significant bits (starting from the left) in
the address compose the network address.
IPv4 mask length
Enter the subnet mask number (1~32) for the IPv4 network.
DNS Server
First DNS Server
Select Obtained From ISP if your ISP dynamically assigns DNS server information (and
the EMG2926-Q10A's WAN IP address). The field to the right displays the (read-only)
Second DNS
DNS server IP address that the ISP assigns.
Server
Select User-Defined if you have the IP address of a DNS server. Enter the DNS server's
Third DNS Server
IP address in the field to the right.
Select None if you do not want to configure DNS servers. If you do not configure a DNS
server, you must know the IP address of a computer in order to access it.
