Route Antenna LMR 400 Coaxial Cable

Complete the below steps to route the LMR 400 coaxial cable from the transmitter to the antenna.
1. Drill a 1" (2.54cm) hole through an exterior wall of the building that is in close proximity to the antenna installation location.
2. Rollout the LMR 400 cable to prevent kinks from developing during routing.
3. Route the LMR 400 cable female connector from the transmitter installation area to the outside installation location of the
antenna, leaving enough cable for (2) 1' (0.30m) diameter coils at the base of the antenna mast.
4. Form and secure two 1' diameter (305mm) loops in the LMR 400 cable at the base of the mast for lightning protection.
5. Connect the LMR 400 cable to the antenna.

Route GPS Cable

Complete the below steps to route and connect the GPS cable to the transmitter.
1. From the outside of the building, route the GPS cable through thea 5/8" 3/4" drilled hole into the building.

Install GPS Receiver

Mounting Kit Contents
The GPS Receiver mounting kit is supplied with the following parts. If any of these items are missing, contact Primex Wireless.

#6 x 3/8 sheet metal screw
Suction cups
U-bolt with nuts for mounting on 1" (2.54cm) pole
