CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• This unit is to be kept dry at all times. Should the unit
become wet, dry immediately with a soft cloth. Electronic
circuits may corrode should they come in contact with
liquids containing minerals.
• Do not drop the unit. Circuit boards may be damaged
and cause the scanner to malfunction if it is dropped.
• Store unit at normal temperatures. Avoid sudden tempera-
ture changes. Excessive hot or cold temperatures may
damage or disfigure plastic parts and/or shorten the life
of electronic devices.
• To prevent premature wear and tear on parts, keep the
unit clean and free of dust and dirt.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents or strong detergents
to clean the unit.
• Do not attempt to alter or modify the internal component's
of the unit.
