Memory Transmission
You can scan a fax into the machine's memory
don't have to wait for the entire fax to be transmitted before you retrieve your original.
If you get a OUT OF MEMORY message while scanning the first page of a fax, press Stop to

cancel the scan. Erase the incoming voice messages or fax messages stored in the memory in
order to make additional memory available.

If you get a OUT OF MEMORY message while scanning in a subsequent page, you'll have the
option to press Start to transmit the pages scanned so far, or to press Stop to cancel the Quick
Scan operation. In this case, send the fax without Memory Transmission or delete stored fax or
voice messages to make additional memory available.

Insert the document in the feeder.

Press Memory. The screen indicates how much memory is available.

Enter the fax number.

Press Start to begin scanning the document into memory. Once the scan is complete, the
machine dials the call.
Broadcasting
Using the numbers you have stored in Tel-Index memory for Index, you can "broadcast" faxes
automatically to up to 100 different locations in a few simple steps.

Insert the document in the feeder.

Press Memory. The screen displays how much memory is available.

Select the Tel-Index number for Index you have stored by rotating
Menu/Set.

Repeat Step 3 to enter the next number.

Press Start. The machine stores the document in memory, then transmits it to all the numbers
you entered. If the line is busy, the machine will retry.
Press Stop during transmission to cancel the current fax broadcast.
