You can't use this feature if there is a document waiting in the feeder (possibly for
Delayed Transmission or Polling Transmit), or when the timer has been
interrupted.
If you use Next-Fax Reservation, you cannot use Memory transmission and it is
not possible to change function menu settings.
Delayed Transmission (Timer)
You can use this function to send a fax up to 24 hours later.

Insert the document in the feeder.

Press Memory to use memory transmission—OR—leave the document in the feeder to be
scanned at the specified time.

Press Menu/Set, 3, 4.

Enter the time you want the fax to be sent, in 24-hour format (for example, enter 19:45 for 7:45
PM).

Press Menu/Set. The screen displays

Press 1 if you want to select additional settings. The
display returns to the Setup Send menu—OR—Press 2
if you are finished choosing settings and go to Step 7.
The screen prompts you to enter the fax number.

Enter the fax number, and press Start. The machine will wait until the time you have entered to
send the fax.
If you prefer to have the document waiting in memory, press Memory before
pressing Start. In that case, you do not have to interrupt the timer to send a fax or
make a copy while the document is waiting.
Cancelling a Scheduled Job
You can cancel tasks you've scheduled such as Timer or Polling Transmit.

Press Menu/Set, 4. Any waiting jobs appear on the display. If no job is waiting, the screen
displays NO JOB WAITING.

If you have more than two jobs waiting, rotate
Menu/Set when the screen displays your selection—OR—If you have only one job waiting, go
to Step 3.

Press 1 to cancel—OR—Press 2 to quit without cancelling.

Press Stop to exit.
