Turn the cartridge over.

Turn the blue gear to tighten the ribbon,
as shown.

Re-install the cartridge into the machine:
Insert the recessed
cartridge into its four holders.

Press down on both sides of the cover to
close it securely. The screen displays
If you don't press either key, the ribbon counter will not
reset.

Press 1 to reset the ribbon counter. If you don't press
either key, the ribbon counter will not reset.

Press 1 again, the counter will be reset and the screen
displays.
