You can set up Index for easy dialling: Tel-Index.
Storing Tel-Index Numbers for Index
You can store Tel-Index numbers for Index, which you dial by rotating
There are 100 Tel-Index locations. Even if you lose electrical power, numbers stored in memory will
not be lost.

Press Menu/Set, 6, 1.
The screen prompts you to enter the number you're
storing.

Enter the number (up to 20 digits).

Press Menu/Set. The screen now prompts you to store
a name with this number.

Use the dial pad to enter the name (up to 15 characters).
You can use the chart of "Entering Text" on page 69 to help you enter letters.—OR—Press
Menu/Set and go to Step 6 to store the number without a name.

Press Menu/Set.

The screen prompts you to select the type of number this is. Rotate
want.

Press Menu/Set.

Press Menu/Set and return to Step 2 to store another Tel-Index number for Index.
—OR—Press Stop to exit.
Changing Tel-Index Numbers for Index
You can change numbers or names stored in the memory.

Press Menu/Set, 6, 2.

Rotate
to select the number you want to change.

Press Menu/Set.

Enter a new number.
If you want to erase the number, press Stop when the cursor is to the far left of the digits.
If you want to change a digit, rotate
change, then enter the new one.
