Settings in the System menu adjust assorted aspects of how
the Observer 2100 operates as well as allowing diagnostic
tools.
Date & Time
Adjust the Observer 2100's date and time. First, tap the
value you want to change, then tap the ^ or v buttons to
adjust it.
Additionally, select the format of the date (Year-Month-Day
or Month-Day-Year) and 12 or 24 hour time display formats.
Password
Use the Password setting to require a password to be
entered to access the Settings menu.
Tap the New Password field to display a keyboard. Repeat
the same password in the Confirm Password field. Then tap
Lock. A prompt appears requesting the password when the
Settings menu is accessed.
To change or remove the password, you must first enter
the original password. Then tap Change to change the
password, or Unlock to remove the password.

Touch Calibration
The Touch Calibration option provides a program to ensure
the screen properly recognizes input. The program presents
three crosses. Press your finger tip in the center of each
cross until the Observer 2100 recognizes it. After three steps
the calibration is complete, tap the screen once more to exit
the program.
G. Sensor (Sensitive/Normal/Insensitive)
Select the sensitivity for the Observer 2100's impact sensor.
Normal is calibrated to detect a door slamming while the
vehicle is stopped, however all vehicles, installations, and
environments may vary.
Motion Detection (Sensitive/Normal/Insensitive)
Select the sensitivity of the motion detection feature while
the Observer 2100 is in Security Mode. Sensitive is calibrated
to detect motion at approximately 1 meter, Normal at 3
meters, and Insensitive at 5 meters.
Language
Select the language the menus appear in: English, Japanese,
Français (French), Deutch (German), Chinese, Italiano (Italian),
Español (Spanish), Korean, or Suomi (Finnish).
