By default, the security key of the CSC wireless
network is set to the same setting of the predefined
SSID1 after you enable Cisco Smart Connect for the
first time.
If you have a CSC smart card, enter the security key
that is provided on your CSC smart card in this field. If
you want to customize the security key of the CSC
wireless network, enter a new security key in this field.
NOTE
Customizing a new security key of the CSC wireless
network will ask you to regenerate and print the QR code of
the CSC smart tag. See
more information.
Check to show the password in plaintext.
Check to enable SSID broadcast. By default, SSID
broadcast is enabled.
You can limit the online time for the wireless clients that
are associated with the CSC wireless network by
using the CSC client application. The associated
wireless clients can access the Internet through the
CSC wireless network.
Enter a value from 0 to 1440 seconds. The default
value is 0, which means that there is no limit.
NOTE
This setting will not be applied to the wireless clients
that are associated with the
(SSID2) without the CSC client application.
NOTE
The wireless clients that are associated with the
CSC wireless network by using the CSC client applications
can only access the Internet and be unable to manage the
CVR100W through the web-based Device Manager.
Check to allow other wireless clients that are
associated with the CSC wireless network (SSID2)
without the CSC client application to access the
Internet (This is the default setting). Uncheck to prevent
them accessing the Internet.
