Upgrading Firmware

To upgrade to a newer version of the firmware:
Choose Administration > Firmware Upgrade.
The following information is displayed:
• Device Model: Displays the device model.
• PID VID: Displays the product ID and version ID.
• Current Firmware Version: Displays the firmware version that the
CVR100W is currently using.
In the Download the latest firmware field, click Download to download the latest
version of the firmware from the specified website to your local PC. Make sure that
you have an active WAN connection.
In the Locate & select the upgrade file field, click Browse to locate and select the
downloaded firmware image from your local PC.
(Optional) If you want to reset the CVR100W to its factory default settings after
upgrading, check Reset all configuration/settings to factory defaults.
Click Start Upgrade.
After the new firmware image is validated, the new image is written to flash, and
the CVR100W is automatically rebooted with the new firmware.
Resetting the CVR100W to its default factory settings erases all of your custom
settings.
Go to the Status > System Summary page to make sure that the CVR100W is
using the new firmware version.
