You may choose which networking environments you want to
configure the AXIS PrintPoint 140 BJC for, i.e. NetWare, Windows
or OS/2. If your network comprises various different platforms you
can, if you wish, enable all three environments.
You may place NetWare Print Queues on a specific bindery server, or
alternatively into an NDS Tree.
The default Print Queue names and print server port names comprise
of the print server name followed by the printer port.

If you wish, the Installation Wizard allows you to amend the default
names.
During the installation process, you may choose the method the AXIS
PrintPoint 140 BJC employs for obtaining an Internet Address. ARP,
RARP, BOOTP and DHCP are supported. Refer to page 24, for more
information on these methods.
The final user prompt in the Installation Wizard allows you to print a
test page through NetWare. This page displays the name of all the
NetWare servers the AXIS PrintPoint 140 BJC is connected to and
shows the status of each connection. This will assist diagnosis in the
event of a configuration error.
The parameters entered during installation are not permanent;
they can be altered at any time according to your network
printing requirements.
