Turning on the power

This section describes how to turn on the power.
After you turn on the power for the first time, do not turn it off until you
have set up the operating system (OS) and the OS has started up.
1. If an external diskette drive is connected, make sure it is empty. If a
diskette is in the drive, press the eject button and remove the diskette.
2. Open the display panel.
3. Press and hold the button for two or three seconds.

Windows XP Professional/Windows 2000 setup
After you select an operating system, the other OS will be permanently
erased from your system.
When you first turn on the power, the computer's initial screen is the
Selecting OS Menu. Select one OS. The extraction of the OS may take
some minutes.
Follow the on-screen directions for each screen. After you complete your
selections the system will boot in the OS you choose.
Be sure to read the License Agreement carefully.
