Aastra DT69x DECT Telephones

Introduction

This document describes features and settings available for the DT690 DECT telephone and
DT692 DECT telephone.
The DT690 and the DT692 are feature-rich telephones with color display, telephony, and
messaging. Additionally, for the DT692 is Bluetooth standard and for DT690 is Bluetooth
optional.
They are designed to be used in medium demanding environment such as hospital
environment, but also office environment.
They are suitable for users dependent of being reachable and/or having a need for mobile
voice and messaging features, which make them ideal for applications where the user needs
either one way messaging or to be able to interact with other users. The color display
enhances and simplifies the use of the telephones.
For software download and parameter set up, read the Installation and Operation Manual,
Portable Device Manager (PDM), Windows version, TD 92681EN and Configuration Manual,
Aastra DT390/DT69x DECT Telephones, TD 92503EN.

Abbreviations and Glossary

PDM:
CPDM3:
31 October 2013 / Ver. H
Portable Device Manager:
An application, running on a PC, for managing portable devices,
charging racks, etc.
Centralized Portable Device Manager:
A system version with more features than the PDM. It runs on a ELISE3
hardware and is manageable from a pc with network communication.
