Native Settings Dependent
Smartphones have preference options to enable or disable the use of packet
data. If turned off in the native menu, any preferences made within the AMC
remain without effect!
Costs and Battery Life
Please note that the usage of data channels may drain the phone's battery.
If costs run too high, a provider might also disconnect the call. Section
page
13
contains information about the amount of data consumed by certain
features.

12.4.3 Connect via BES

With the activation of the setting Connect via BES all connections will be handled over
the Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES); no APNs have to be set if this is enabled.
Please note that Connect via BES can't be combined with Allow VoIP over 3G! Con-
nections via the BES are currently only intended (and can therefore only be used) for
signaling.
Connect-Via-BES: true or false.

12.5 Call Preference

By setting the Dial Mode you can configure in which situations your AMC shall handle
incoming and outgoing calls.
The rule you choose here will only be applied if the AMC is activated.

12.5.1 Dual Identity

In Dual Identity mode your AMC will only handle calls made from within the AMC. Calls
made from the native Blackberry menu, will not be handled by the AMC automatically.
